Our Story

Infosys was born from a true American dream.

Its founder, Ian Tiu, began his journey as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist from the Philippines who came to the United States on a temporary work visa, seeking growth and a better life. While working full-time in healthcare, Ian discovered a passion for programming. Completely self-taught, he dove into .NET development and began building small applications to solve everyday challenges in the laboratory.

Driven by efficiency, teamwork, and automation, he constantly looked for ways to eliminate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows. Before long, he saw that the need for custom software extended far beyond his department.

That vision led to the creation of Infosys — a proprietary software mainframe designed to house limitless modular tools within a single platform. What started as a personal productivity project quickly grew into an essential system for the hospital, powering:

Service request tracking
Over-the-counter medication management
Occupational health charge logging
Digital record keeping
Temperature and maintenance logs
…and countless other operational tasks

In 2023, Ian officially launched IGTSoft LLC with a mission to make custom software accessible, affordable, and adaptable — not just for healthcare, but for any industry seeking smarter ways to work.
